How does it work?

The main reason houseplants die is from improper watering, mainly from overwatering but also from not watering. Blumat Watering Systems are here to keep your houseplants watered correctly keeping them healthy and happy. Simple, efficient, and easy to install; your plants can take care of themselves while you are on vacation or otherwise busy. This pack contains 10 distributors and 2 meters of (6.5 feet) of 3mm drip tubing. Two nozzles allow you to connect tubing on both sides of the dripper for up to five drip locations from one Tropf-Blumat (dripper chain). The end-distributor dripper has a drip nozzle on one side only for use as the end piece in a dripper chain. The black screw does not need to be adjusted unless a distribution dripper can be seen to be releasing less water. In this case, loosen the black screw by one turn. Unscrew completely and clean once a year.

Each Tropf Blumat can control 5 of these distribution drippers and saturate a 40" length - either in a row or around a large plant.

First set the Tropf-Blumat as instructed, and then attach the tubing and drippers. These are great for watering long plant beds, planter boxes and giving large plants an even amount of water in a circle around them. They connect to a Tropf-Blumat or a Maxi. This is less expensive than adding more sensors but you may need to add a filter to your system so they don't clog.
