Why does CalMag Fuel contain no Nitrogen?

We manufacture a proprietary blend of chelated and complexed calcium and magnesium using a variety of organic acids recognized by plants and safe for the environment. This process does not include the introduction of any nitrogen-rich ingredients.

Why is there no need to adjust the pH?

Our products are buffered to deliver elements in soluble forms across the full pH range that the plants are capable of growing in. You will oxidize the complexes/chelates and break the chemistry down if you adjust the pH!

Can I use CalMag Fuel in a hydroponic, deep-water culture, recirculating, or ebb and flow growing system?

We DO NOT recommend adding CalMag Fuel to recirculating reservoirs, aeroponics, etc. Growers with these systems can however use CalMag Fuel as part of a foliar spray program! Check out our website for the full foliar spray schedule by week.

Absolutely! We recommend 4-6 mL / Gallon of CalMag Fuel and 10 mL / Gallon of Root Anchor to prepare coco for cultivation.
