Gardener’s Special 11-15-11 (15 lbs)

USE INSTRUCTIONS

An excellent all-purpose plant food that contains both fast and slow release Nitrogen. Contains necessary trace elements to aid in development of plant and crop yield. These elements need to be replenished since they are quickly depleted by the high use and demand on the soil by vegetable plants.

Tomatoes & Peppers: Mix ¾ to 1 lb. of Fertilome Gardener’s Special per 25 ft. of row into the top 4-6 in. of soil prior to planting. After blossoms set, side fertilize plants with ¾ lb. per 25 ft. of row, and water in well.

Beans, Peas, Corn, Okra, etc.: Scatter a 6 to 12 in. band of Fertilome Gardener’s Special at the rate of ¾ lb. per 25 ft. of row when plants are 2 to 6 in. tall. When plants are 10 to 12 in. tall, make another application at the rate of ¾ lb. per 25 ft. of row. Mix into the soil and water in.

Vine Crops, Melons, Cucumbers, Squash, etc.: At planting and about every 4 to 6 weeks thereafter, scatter ¹?³ cup Fertilome Gardener’s Special around each hill. Water in well.

Root Crops, Potatoes, Onions, etc.: At planting time scatter Fertilome Gardener’s Special along the bottom of the furrow at the rate of 2 lbs. per 25 ft. of row. Mix with the soil.

Leaf Crops, Lettuce, Cabbage, etc.: Fertilize every three weeks, scattering a 6 to 8 in. band of Fertilome Gardener’s Special along each side of the row at the rate of ¾ lb. to every 25 ft. of row. Water in well.

Roses, Azaleas, and Other Ornamental Trees & Shrubs: Sprinkle a light coating out to the spread of the widest branches at the rate of ½ heaping tablespoon per new plant, and ½ cup for each 3 ft. of height for established plants. Mix lightly into the soil and water well.
