The Havahart Large 1-Door Animal Trap is designed to remain reliable and sturdy enough to withstand the pressures of outdoor conditions as well as the unruly animals you may trap. Each trap is constructed with rust-resistant, galvanized, 12-gauge wire mesh that provides long-lasting protection for your property from damage-causing animal pests.

The trap's 1-door design allows animals to fully enter before being triggered, resulting in higher catch rates and fewer escape possibilities.

The 12-gauge, one-piece wire mesh is galvanized for maximum resistance to rust and corrosion. A solid door and steel reinforcements add to the durability.

The finely-tuned tripping mechanism targets heavier animals to eliminate false triggers. The powerful trap door delivers quick, secure captures.

The solid spring-loaded door ensures the animal remains securely inside until release, while the large handle guard minimizes the chance of contact between you and the animal during transport. Inside the trap, the edges are smooth to prevent injuries to the animal during its time in the trap.

Choose an appropriate bait for your target animal. Place the bait towards the back of the trap to encourage animals to enter the trap fully. Be careful not to place bait under the trigger plate.

Set the live trap near where you’ve noticed pest animal activity. You can camouflage the trap by placing twigs and leaves on top. You can also leave an unset baited trap for a few days to entice the animal.
