These low voltage wire connectors are perfect fit for 14, 16, 18 and 20 gauge wire of low voltage landscape lights, great for 12, 14 gauge power cord. It works for both stranded and solid wires, widely used for low voltage landscape spotlight, well lights, deck lights, etc.

Work fine during and after heavy rain, thunderstorms, snow, ice storm etc, but do NOT use them underwater. Also these landscape light connectors work well buried in the dirt. If you are still concerned about waterproof ability, just put a dab of liquid tape on both ends, this would keep any moisture out of the connector.

Step1

Split the 12 or 14 gauge power cable.

Step2

Put the power wire into the large cap.

Step3

Tighten the large cap to ensure the pin pierce the insulation of the cable.

Step4

Pass the stripped light wire through the small cap, make sure there is enough wire expose(about 1/4”), and ensure the gauge of light wire is 14, 16, 18 or 20.

Step5

Install the small cap to ensure that the exposed wire touch the metal post inside the connector.

Step6

Pull the wire to make sure it doesn't come out of the connector.
