I used exactly 18 cubic feet of top soil... thank you all for your help... the math gave me a headache and required napping... amazing I could pass a statistics class in college... and I went when calculators were considered cheating....

What do you use as a bottom when placing on concrete?

I placed landscape/weed barrier fabric because of sitting directly over ground on grass. Not sure about concrete.

Can anyone suggest the best cover to use with this flower bed?

I made my own using chicken wire and pvc pipe.

Absolutely! But this has been cut by the manufacturer so that it easily doves together.
