Atticus Artavia 2 SC Fungicide Product Information
Artavia 2 SC works fast and lasts long for broad-spectrum protection against 30+ ornamental and 20+ turf diseases, including troublesome anthracnose and leaf spot. Artavia’s easy-mix formulation provides root-to-leaf disease defense in lawns, landscapes, and nurseries for up to 28 days. For best control results, apply before disease develops.
Disease prevention is always best. Apply when conditions favor development?as a rule when the low temp is above 65 and leaf wetness exceeds 12 hours.
Mix 0.125 to 0.5 teaspoons Artavia 2 SC with 1 gallon of water and apply over 1,000 sq ft. See the label for rate details. (1 TSP=0.16 oz)
Mix 0.75 to 2.5 tablespoons Artavia 2 SC with 1 gallon of water and apply over 1,000 sq ft. See the label rate for details (1 TBSP=0.5 oz)
Most diseases are best controlled on a 14- to 28- day interval. Use shorter intervals under high disease pressure. See the label for timing details.
Is Atticus Artavia 2 SC fungicide okay to use around pets?
Yes, pets may re-enter the treated area once the spray has completely dried.
May unused spray solution be saved to apply at a later date?
No, only mix the amount needed for same-day application needs. Solutions made with azoxystrobin should not be stored longer than one day.
Why is is best to apply Atticus Artavia 2 SC before disease development?
As with all fungicides, Artavia 2 SC delivers the best protection by stopping disease before it starts. If not applied preventively, apply at the first signs of disease onset; the more progressed a disease becomes, the harder it will be to cure.
What conditions favor disease development?
Warm, humid air promotes disease development. In general, once nighttime lows are in the 60's and grass/leaves experience prolonged wetness (12 hours), disease is likely to develop and Atticus Artavia 2 SC should be applied as a preventive measure.
Is it okay to rotate fungicide products from one application to the next?
Yes, in fact, rotation between different chemical classes (group #) is encouraged. When active ingredients from different classes are used in rotation, resistance development is mitigated. Gunner 14.3 MEC is a good rotation partner with Artavia SC.
