What makes liquid fertilizer better than granulars?

High phosphorus concentration helps expand root systems, giving trees a stronger foundation for drawing nutrients for fruit production.

We don't ship water. Dilute our concentrated ratio of 1 teaspoon per gallon. One 32oz bottle can last a full season for a mature tree.

The best way to prevent insects and disease is to provide your tree the nutrients it needs to grow healthy and strong. Fruit Tree Booster delivers.

Dilute with water and use a watering can for root application or a sprayer applicator for foliar feed. Compatible with irrigation systems, too!

What is this made out of?

This product is a concentrated mixture of many nutrients that are critical to tree health including the main macronutrients of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, but also crucial trace minerals like zinc, iron and more.

What makes this better than competitors' products?

Simply put, it’s all in the formula! Our unique blend of nutrients has been perfected by professional agronomists doing field tests. We could go on and on but instead of hearing our boring chemistry lesson, take a look at our reviews!

Is it safe to apply where kids and pets will be around?

Yes, as long as you dilute the product with water as directed, areas you apply the product to will not pose any harm to kids or pets!

I’m a beginner, is this hard to use?

No! This is a great place to start if you’re at the beginning of your gardening journey. There's no risk it will harm your trees if you dilute it properly and it’s really easy to use.

What is the mixing ratio? How much do I apply to each tree?

Dilute at a ratio of 1 teaspoon per gallon of water. Use up to 5 teaspoons per feeding for trees in their first two seasons. For mature trees, you can use up to 10 teaspoons per feeding.

Are there any fruit trees that it will harm? What about other plants near my trees?

Not that we’ve found! It’s a well-rounded formula that will be beneficial to just about anything you’re growing in your garden, so no need to worry about spraying near neighboring plants.

Where is it made?

All of our products are made in the USA and the majority of our blending and bottling is done in Kentucky!

When and how often should it be applied?

We recommend applying weekly. Start applying once tree is out of dormancy. To maximize results, switching to a formula lower in nitrogen once tree starts to produce can help, but this formula will still work great throughout the growth cycle.

Does it expire? What about once it’s opened?

Practically speaking, no. It has a shelf life of 10 years, so if you’re so inclined, feel free to order a decade’s worth today. Opening it will not impact that.

How does it help with disease resistance?

What can humans do to help prevent getting sick? Eat nutritious foods, minimize stress, etc. It’s the same with trees! When trees aren't getting all the nutrients they need, they are susceptible to many diseases and pests.

Is it safe to eat fruit produced by trees I apply this to?

Yes absolutely. Everything in our product is from naturally occurring substances that are already present in the soil and being used by your tree. There is nothing in the product that trees (and humans) don’t consume on an everyday basis.

Do I spray on my trees or apply to it to the soil below it?

Either one! This product works great with soil applications or foliar feeding (spraying the leaves). If applying to soil, do so around the tree's drip line. If foliar feeding, do so in the morning or evening, when risk of evaporation is lower.

How long does it take to see results?

It depends on a lot of factors: type of tree, climate, stage of growth cycle, etc. but we have seen some pretty amazing results literally overnight. However, usually it takes a couple applications before you really start to have noticeable results!

What makes liquid fertilizer better than granulars?

There are pros and cons to each, however, we are a bit biased towards liquid fertilizers. Liquid tree fertilizer has the advantage of being immediately available for trees to utilize. Granulars can take a long time (if ever) to be useable by trees.
